Privacy Policy

Sales Glow connects to your Shopify store to generate a unified channel performance dashboard. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and how you can have it removed.

What we access

When you connect Shopify, we read your store data using the following permissions: orders, products, inventory, analytics, and Shopify Payments payout information. We only store aggregated metrics derived from this data. We do not store individual customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information.

How we use it

Your store data is used solely to populate your Sales Glow dashboard. We do not use it for advertising, benchmarking against other businesses, training machine learning models, or any purpose beyond delivering your analytics.

Where it lives

Your data is stored in the United States. All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Your Shopify access credentials are stored encrypted and never exposed in plain text.

Data security

Sales Glow is built on infrastructure maintained by Supabase and Vercel, both of which are SOC 2 Type II certified. We follow industry-standard security practices including encrypted storage, secure credential handling, and access controls that limit who can view your data. We do not log or store raw API responses from Shopify. We are GDPR compliant. Merchants and users based in the European Union have the same rights as described in the Your Rights section below, and we honour all requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

How long we keep it

Your data remains active while your account is active. If you disconnect Shopify, your store data is deleted within 48 hours automatically. If you close your account entirely, all data is permanently deleted within 30 days. You can also request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us.

Third parties

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. The only external service we use to operate Sales Glow is Supabase for database storage (United States), acting as a data processor under our instruction.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to the data we hold about your store, request correction of inaccurate data, request permanent deletion of all your data, and restrict or object to how we process it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at darain@salesglow.app and we will respond within 30 days.
